OVERVIEW
Thermometers
Thermometers are used to measure and display the temperature in all fields of daily life. In Germany, the temperature is usually measured and indicated in degrees Celsius (°C).
However, the measurement unit Kelvin (K) has become established internationally. In contrast to degrees Celsius, Kelvin is based on absolute zero. Hence, 0 °C corresponds to 273.16 K. In English speaking countries, the temperature is given in degrees Fahrenheit (°F).
Luxmeters
The lighting intensity of light sources is measured using luxmeters. The internationally recognised unit of measurement in this case is Lux (lx).
Too bright or dazzling light is extremely unpleasant for the human eye; in individual cases, it can be the cause of illnesses. As it is hard to imagine not having different light sources in practically all areas of private and public life, guidelines have been developed for many different fields.
Humidity Tester
Moisture influences most materials which are used in building or construction negatively. Besides it could harm humans’ health. A moisture or humidity meter helps you to find out if a critical moisture or humidity level has been found in your materials.
