The Testboy 26 is a cable detector that simplifies searching for cables in walls and cable ducts.
The depth to which the Testboy 26 can detect depends on the composition of the wall (for example, brick, plaster, concrete).

A lined case with belt loop is included in the range of supply. It is suitable for reliably and safely transporting both devices.

A carrier signal from the transmitter is modulated either by means of the alligator clips or the modular connector to one end of the cable. This allows the other end of the cable to be found quickly and precisely with the receiver without contact or having to strip the insulation of the cable.

The Testboy 26 can exactly identify the single two-core cable (for example in telecommunications technology).

As well as being equipped with a socket for earphones for working in loud surroundings, the sensitivity of the easy-to-use receiver is infinitely adjustable. The transmitter can optionally transmit either a continuous or alternating tone. The integrated continuity tester detects short-circuits quickly and reliably.
